Typical failure type of gearbox

Through the analysis of the practical application of the gearbox, it is not difficult to determine its fault. The whole gearbox system includes bearings, gears, transmission shafts, box structures and other components. As a common mechanical power system, it is very prone to failure of mechanical parts while it is moving continuously, especially the three parts of bearings, gears and transmission shafts. The probability of other failures is significantly lower than them.

When the gear performs tasks, it lacks the ability to work due to the influence of various complex factors. The value of functional parameters exceeds the maximum allowable critical value, which leads to a typical gearbox failure. There are also various forms of expression. Looking at the overall situation, it is mainly divided into two categories: the first is that the gears are gradually generated during the accumulated rotation. As the outer surface of the gearbox bears a relatively large load, the relative rolling force and sliding force will appear in the clearance of the meshing gears. The friction force during sliding is just opposite to the direction at both ends of the pole. Over time, the long-term mechanical operation will cause the gears to be glued The occurrence of cracks and the increase of wear will make the gear fracture inevitable. The other type of fault is due to the negligence of the staff when installing the gear because they are not familiar with the safe operation process or violate the operation specifications and requirements, or the hidden danger is buried for the occurrence of the fault in the initial manufacturing. This fault is often due to the fact that the inner hole and the outer circle of the gear are not on the same center, the shape error and axis distribution asymmetry in the interactive meshing of the gear.

In addition, in each accessory of the gearbox, the shaft is also a part that can easily be lost. When a relatively large load impacts the shaft, the shaft will quickly deform, directly inducing this fault of the gearbox. When diagnosing the gearbox fault, the effect of shafts with different deformation degrees on the gearbox fault is inconsistent. Of course, there will also be different fault performance. Therefore, the shaft distortion can be divided into severe and mild. The unbalance of the shaft will lead to failure. The reasons are as follows: when working in a heavy load environment, deformation is inevitable over time; The shaft itself has exposed a series of defects in many technological processes, such as production, manufacturing and processing, resulting in a serious imbalance of the newly cast shaft.
